Dr. Gloria Docherty, OD

Dr. Docherty has lived in the southwest suburbs ever since her family moved from the Roseland / West Pullman neighborhood in 1972. After graduating from Carl Sandburg High School, she continued her education at St. Xavier College in Chicago where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology. She graduated cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry with a Doctor of Optometry degree.
Dr. Docherty sees patients of all ages and welcomes the opportunity to provide your family with comprehensive eye care. After thoroughly assessing the health of the eye and a careful, methodical refraction to determine your best possible prescription, she will take the time to make sure you understand your visual health and treatment options if necessary. Dr. Docherty has many years of experience to help you make important decisions regarding your eyecare.
As an affiliate of the Kraff Eye Institute of Chicago, Dr. Docherty provides consultations and pre- and post-op care for Lasik and PRK.
She still resides in the area with her husband. She has two adult daughters and one adult son who continue to live in the Chicago area. Three grandchildren keep her busy and blessed.

Dr. Patricia Hart, OD

Dr. Hart is from a family of seven and grew up in Oak Lawn, where she attended Mother McAuley High School. She went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Masters degree in Special Education, specializing in Learning Disabilities. She then received her Doctorate degree in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. She and her husband have two daughters and have lived in Orland Park for the past 20 years. Dr. Hart has enjoyed practicing optometry in the southwest suburbs for the past 28 years, after relocating from her downtown office.
Dr. Hart provides comprehensive ocular health exams for people of all ages. She specializes in contact lens fitting and diagnosing and treating a multitude of eye diseases. Dr. Hart enjoys helping patients adjust to the changes in their visual needs and discussing their possible concerns. She co-manages and consults both LASIK and cataract surgeries. She provides the best care possible and treats each patient as an individual.
